The Pillow Historical Society is a community organization dedicated to preserving the heritage of the borough of Pillow, PA and the surrounding areas.  The organization has published a history book, calendars with historic photos, and Christmas cards.  The society also acquired the church building once the home of the Zion Lutheran Church established by the Reverend Michael Enterline in 1785. This historic church building is currently the home of the Pillow Historical Society Museum.

There is much more to learn about this quaint little town of 300 residents.  You can become active with the Historical Society, purchase one of our history books, or link onto the Pillow web site  for additional information about Pillow.

Dog Days Of Pillow

Picture
On Saturday September 1, 2012, the Pillow Historical Society will be sponsoring a community day focused on our canine pets.  The day will include many different fun competitive events such as the best kisser and the best tail wagger; we will have games and food, and vendors of local crafts and puppy services.  We will also have our local radio station WQLV 98.9 on site covering the event throughout the day.

So if you are a craft vendor, contact us about reserving space for a booth.  If you are a dog lover, plan on attending with your four legged friends and register them in some of the events.  Go to the Contact Us page of this site for a copy of our vendor form.

No dog?  No problem......there will be plenty of activities for those looking for a fun day in the park.

The fun will begin at 9AM.
